Sony’s Astro Bot is getting the Mario-like adventure it deserves

Sony’s lovable robo-mascot is acquiring a new video game. By way of its PlayStation State of Participate in on Thursday, Sony dropped a trailer for the impending PS5 title Astro Bot. The 3D Mario-esque title, a sequel to the beloved pack-in, Astro’s Playroom, comes on September six.

The trailer sees our pal Astro wading by way of puddles whole of pink flamingos, grappling all through platforms like Bionic Commando and summoning a PS5 console to allow struggle a massive eco-friendly alien in a UFO (as a single tends to do). In a nod to aged-faculty PlayStation, the trailer even contains a cameo from PaRappa the Rapper.

Sony describes Astro Bot as a “supersized adventure” that spans about six galaxies and 80 concentrations as you search for your misplaced crew.
