Can you change your username in Overwatch 2?

Yes, you can change your username in Overwatch 2 in your Battle.net profile (BattleTag).

However, you can only change your username once for free.

If you want to change your username twice or more times, you need to purchase a BattleTag change.

A BattleTag change costs $10 and it’s non-transferrable.

How to change your name in Overwatch 2

To change your name in Overwatch 2, you need to log in to Battle.net and go to your account settings.

Once you’re there, select “Account Details” and select “Update” next to “BattleTag”.

Lastly, choose a new name and select “Change your BattleTag”.

Here’s how to do this:

  3. Choose a new name.
  4. Select “Change your BattleTag”.

When you change your BattleTag in your account settings, your Overwatch 2 name will be changed to it as well.

Simply put, your Battle.net BattleTag = your Overwatch 2 name.

Keep in mind that you can only change your Overwatch 2 name/username once for free.
