Jesse McCartney Anticipating the Arrival of My Second Child While Dealing with PTSD
Published
Jesse McCartney expresses his excitement about becoming a father again, but reveals that the complicated birth of his first son has left him grappling with PTSD.
While at LAX on Thursday, the singer shared with our photographer his joy about expecting a baby girl.
Jesse elaborated that the haunting memories of his son’s challenging birth have made baby preparations feel overwhelming. He mentioned that they are striving to remain “cautiously optimistic” for a smoother experience this time.
As many know, Jesse’s first son spent a challenging 70 days in the neonatal intensive care unit after being born three months premature, a heart-wrenching ordeal for any parent.
Currently, Jesse reports that everything is progressing positively and that his wife, Katie Peterson, is in good health.
We hope for the healthy arrival of baby number two and wish the same for mom.
