In a recent episode of ‘Lovers by Shan’ released on September 23 via YouTube, Kendrick Sampson shared his unique perspective on love and family. Approximately 44 minutes into the discussion, he revealed that he views love differently than most, emphasizing that he does not wish to include children in his romantic partnerships.
“I definitely want children, but I want children with my homegirls,” he explained.
Sampson elaborated that he wants to ensure his friends understand that their relationship would not be romantic. Instead, their main focus would be on “the well-being of the child.”
“I ain’t complicated by what I feel, and what mood I’m in, how you betrayed me, how you slept with someone, how you cheated. You know, I don’t want the romance. You haven’t been shown enough romance, and now the kid is suffering — I would rather be in a relationship where we know we got kids — it takes a village. This is a village,” he stated.
