During the Summer Games Fest 2026, Shift Up unveiled the highly anticipated sequel to their successful title, Stellar Blade. This new installment, titled Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, continues to explore the same universe as its predecessor. Shift Up promises that this sequel will take the narrative in an exciting “bold new direction.” The game introduces a fresh protagonist named Evie, who serves as a tribute to Eve from the original game.
The first Stellar Blade received a positive reception, achieving a score of 81 on Metacritic thanks to its stunning visuals and engaging combat mechanics. Blood Rain aims to enhance these aspects, as showcased in the extensive trailer released during the announcement.
