Shocking Discovery: Woman Claims Disturbing Find In Trader Joe’s Juice
In her court filings, Julee O’Neil recounts that she purchased a 52-ounce bottle of Trader Joe’s Organic Orange Juice in June 2025 from the Portland store. Days later, as she was finishing the beverage, she reported feeling what she initially thought was a large piece of pulp in her mouth, only to discover it was what she described as the fingertip of a rubber glove. Furthermore, the complaint alleges that she feared the item could have been a part of a human finger and expressed concerns that she may have accidentally swallowed additional material, leading to feelings of gagging, nausea, and a burning sensation in her mouth.
O’Neil Pursues Compensation After Juice Incident, Demands Jury Trial
Following the disturbing discovery, O’Neil sought immediate medical attention due to persistent symptoms, including nausea and discomfort. She asserts that she reached out to Trader Joe’s in writing, demanding a settlement of $10,000, which she claims the company failed to pay. This lack of response has prompted her to file a lawsuit seeking $10,000 in damages, in addition to attorney’s fees and other associated costs. As the legal proceedings advance, O’Neil has requested a jury trial to ensure her case is heard in court.
O’Neil’s Previous Lawsuits Come to Light As Trader Joe’s Case Develops
Meanwhile, legal documents reveal that O’Neil has a history of filing multiple personal injury-related lawsuits over the past decade. These include cases linked to car accidents, a retail slip-and-fall incident at Starbucks, and a dispute regarding massage therapy services. While she settled several cases, some were dismissed or dropped before reaching a resolution. Regarding the current allegations, Trader Joe’s has yet to issue a public response, leaving the claims to be examined in court as this case continues to attract significant media attention.
