The clip shows the ‘You’ hitmaker performing ‘Girls Around The World,’ during the ‘Cuffing Season’ tour which stopped in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, Nov. 21. Right as Lloyd’s about to bust a move, he slips and smacks the floor face-first. He couldn’t believe it – he stayed down for a second while security helped him up. The best part? He laughed so hard he couldn’t even get back on his feet. Once he did, he kept smiling and finished performing for his fans. After the clip started going viral, Lloyd hopped on Instagram saying he “saw his life flash before his eyes.”

Lloyd Gets Real About His Unexpected Floor Check

Lloyd was tagged in another video on Instagram showing him after the fall. He told the camera he tripped while trying to hit his signature slide. “I feel like all my cool points is just out the window.”As for staying on the ground, he said when he falls, he just has to lay there. He can’t put on a front and act like nothing happened. Despite dropping jokes and laughing, fans were happy to know that he wasn’t severely injured.
