Porsha Williams’ former spouse, Simon Guobadia, is reportedly initiating a legal battle against her through a new lawsuit. He alleges that her questionable Instagram posts regarding erectile dysfunction have severely tarnished his reputation. Simon is pursuing a significant financial settlement for lost business opportunities, as well as additional damages for the emotional distress and embarrassment he claims to have suffered as a result of her actions. This lawsuit follows closely on the heels of Simon’s previous legal defeat against Porsha, in which a judge reaffirmed the validity of their prenuptial agreement.

Simon Guobadia Criticizes Porsha’s Instagram Posts as Damaging
According to reports from Us Weekly, Simon is taking legal action against Porsha for defamation, stemming from her November 2024 Instagram posts that he claims falsely suggested he suffers from erectile dysfunction. His attorney asserts that Porsha leveraged her social media platform to disseminate “misleading” information during their contentious breakup, with the apparent intent to publicly humiliate him. “The posts were designed to lead the public to believe that [Simon] is afflicted by this condition,” his legal representative stated emphatically.
The legal documents assert that while Porsha’s posts were presented as factual, Simon adamantly denies experiencing ED or any related medical issues. He is demanding $500,000 to compensate for lost sponsorships and business opportunities, which includes claims for emotional distress and public humiliation. Simon’s legal team argues that the timing of Porsha’s posts, coinciding with their separation, clearly indicates that she was deliberately targeting him.
Simon Regrets His Marriage to Porsha Williams
In a recent interview with Page Six, Simon Guobadia shared his profound regrets regarding his brief 14-month marriage to the reality television star. The Nigerian businessman accused Porsha of pursuing him solely for his substantial $40 million fortune. “I was targeted for financial reasons,” he expressed with frustration. Simon has described the marriage as a “$5 million rehab project” and expressed his shock when Porsha filed for divorce in February 2024.
“I kept asking, ‘Why did you file for a divorce?’ And she wouldn’t say anything. This felt like a coup.”
Despite Simon’s objections, a judge upheld their prenuptial agreement, awarding Porsha $40,000 monthly in alimony and allowing her to reside in their Atlanta mansion for up to 36 months. Simon has publicly vowed to appeal this ruling, asserting, “I’m taking this to the Supreme Court if I have to.” Meanwhile, Porsha’s representatives have responded, indicating that she has moved on and wishes Simon well.
Porsha Williams Achieves Legal Success in Divorce Settlement
Porsha has achieved a significant legal victory in her divorce from Simon, as a Georgia judge ruled in her favor on June 11, reinforcing the terms of their prenuptial agreement. Reports indicate that Porsha is set to receive $40,000 monthly in alimony for the next 15 months, as stated by ESSENCE. Additionally, she is retaining the luxury Rolls-Royce that Simon gifted her, along with the right to live in their $7 million mansion until 2027, with Simon responsible for the mortgage payments. He is also liable for her legal fees! “I feel relieved,” Porsha shared with PEOPLE following her judicial victory.
Prior to this legal setback, Simon claimed that Porsha misled him about her return to ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” asserting, “She failed to disclose that she would return to her employment on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’” The judge dismissed this claim, highlighting that Porsha’s reality television role was already well-known to him. Now facing deportation to Nigeria, Simon intends to appeal the ruling, stating, “This matter is far from over.”
