In a recent update, Google has transformed the icons of the Gemini apps for both iPhone and Android, as reported by 9to5Google. The former icon, characterized by a gradient from purple to blue on a four-point star, has been replaced with a vibrant rainbow gradient that echoes the colors of the Google logo, featuring yellow, green, red, and blue hues. This shift not only enhances the visual appeal but also aligns Gemini more closely with other recognizable Google products.

The updated star points are now more rounded compared to the previous logo design. Alongside the revamped app icons, 9to5Google also notes that this refreshed star design is prominently featured on the home screen widget for Android users, although it has not yet been incorporated into the iPhone version. Interestingly, the official Gemini website continues to showcase the older blue and purple logo, indicating a transitional phase in branding.
