911 Caller Describes Gregg Popovich’s ‘Barely Responding’ State

TMZ Sports has obtained the critical 911 call connected to Gregg Popovich’s alarming medical emergency from the previous month. This recording sheds considerable light on the extremely serious condition of the NBA coaching legend during this distressing episode.

In the chilling audio recording, a concerned individual is heard informing law enforcement on April 15 that Popovich, who was not identified by name during the call, had suddenly collapsed at a Ruth’s Chris Steak House situated in the San Antonio area.

Initially, the caller described the former Spurs coach as a restaurant “guest” who was “non-responding.” However, he later corrected himself, stating that Popovich was actually “barely responding,” indicating the severity of the situation.

Fortunately, just moments later, the caller reported that Popovich began to regain consciousness, which was a relief to everyone involved.
