What could this mean for Rick (Walton Goggins), who recently confronted Jim with a gun in Bangkok? It’s a peculiar assertion, but I believe that this actually positions Rick in a safer situation. Consider this: If Jim, a figure of considerable influence, truly intended to eliminate Rick, why would he choose to do so within the confines of his own hotel or even appear in person? It seems more plausible that Jim has other motives for wanting to reconnect with Rick—perhaps to share more details about the mysterious events surrounding Gloria Hatchett.

Initially, I thought Frank (Sam Rockwell) would be a one-off cameo character remaining in Bangkok, but the show seems determined to bring him back.
