The lawsuit has not only raised serious allegations but has also led to significant repercussions for Baldoni’s professional life, threatening his public image and future opportunities.
According to the lawsuit, which was submitted on Friday and obtained by TMZ on Saturday, Lively details numerous serious allegations of sexual harassment. She claims that Baldoni, who is both her co-star and director on the film, along with his team, engaged in a deliberate effort to undermine her reputation through a damaging smear campaign.
Baldoni’s representatives have categorically denied all allegations presented in the lawsuit, asserting that the claims are unfounded and misrepresent the situation.

Talent Agency Cuts Ties with Baldoni
In a swift response, less than 24 hours after Lively filed her lawsuit against Baldoni, the talent agency William Morris Endeavor confirmed that they have severed ties with the actor. This decision was reported by TMZ on Saturday.
According to Deadline, which was the first to break the story, WME executives made this decision early Saturday morning, citing the lawsuit as a significant reason for their decision to part ways with Baldoni.
In contrast, Lively continues to be represented by WME, highlighting the contrasting reactions to the allegations.
Podcast Co-host Exits Following Allegations
In light of Lively’s accusations, journalist and writer Liz Plank, who co-hosted The Man Enough podcast alongside Baldoni and producer Jamey Heath, announced her departure from the mental health-focused podcast.
In a heartfelt statement shared on Instagram, Plank, 37, expressed, “I am writing to inform you that I have instructed my representatives to inform Wayfarer that I will no longer be co-hosting The Man Enough podcast. Thank you for trusting me with your stories and for allowing me to share my own. I will miss you, the listeners, immensely. The community we built together means the world to me.”
She continued, “As I close this chapter, I remain dedicated to the values we established together. Thank you for being here and for supporting me over the past four years. Together, we can create a better future for everyone.”
While Plank did not explicitly mention the lawsuit or Lively in her statement, her remarks hinted at the recent developments surrounding them.

“I’ll have more to share soon as I process everything that has transpired,” she wrote. “I will continue to support those who speak out against injustice and hold accountable those who stand in their way.”
“I will miss you all, and I will be sharing more soon. I appreciate your compassion and patience during this time. I hope this comment section can be a space of support, respect, and kindness, reflecting the community we have built together. ❤️,” she added in her post’s caption.
The Man Enough podcast, which debuted in 2021 with Plank, Baldoni, and Heath, aims to address what it means to be a man today and explores the impact of rigid gender roles on everyone, as stated on its website. Baldoni also published a book titled Man Enough: Undefining My Masculinity in April 2021, which aligns with the podcast’s themes.
Furthermore, Jamey Heath, who is the CEO of Wayfarer Studios, co-founded by Baldoni, has also been implicated in the lawsuit alongside Baldoni and Lively.

Justin Baldoni’s Award Revoked Following Lawsuit
In a significant turn of events, Baldoni recently had an award rescinded in light of Lively’s allegations against him.
On Monday, Important Voices, a non-profit organization that empowers women entrepreneurs and leaders globally, released an official statement announcing the revocation of Baldoni’s Voices of Solidarity Award, which he had accepted earlier this month in New York City.
“The Voices of Solidarity Award recognizes extraordinary men who demonstrate courage and compassion in advocating for women and girls,” the organization stated in their announcement, shared across their website and Instagram. “On December 9, 2024, we honored Justin Baldoni with this award. However, on Saturday, December 21, we learned through news reports about the troubling lawsuit filed by Blake Lively against Mr. Baldoni, his publicists, and others, which alleges disturbing conduct.”
“The communications between Mr. Baldoni and his publicists mentioned in the lawsuit, along with the PR efforts they describe, are fundamentally at odds with the values upheld by Important Voices and the spirit of the Award,” they added. “We have informed Mr. Baldoni of our decision to rescind this award.”

After receiving the award on December 9, Baldoni took to Instagram to express his thoughts on this achievement.
“My hope is that we can teach our boys, while they are still young, that vulnerability is strength, sensitivity is a superpower, and empathy makes them powerful,” he stated, according to USA Today. “Being a boy and a man is amazing and nothing to apologize for. We should value all the beautiful and complex aspects of their humanity.”
“I sincerely believe that once our boys learn to be safe spaces for themselves, our world will finally become a safe space for everyone,” Baldoni added, highlighting his commitment to gender equality.
Notably, the actor removed his initial Instagram post by Tuesday, indicating the rapid evolution of the situation.
Baldoni and PR Team Face Lawsuit from Former Publicist
Just days after Lively’s lawsuit was filed, Baldoni faced another legal challenge as he and his former publicist, Stephanie Jones, were sued. The lawsuit accuses her former employees, Jennifer Abel and Melissa Nathan, of engaging in an alleged “aggressive media smear campaign” against Lively to damage her reputation and undermine her public relations agency, Jonesworks, according to documents acquired by TMZ.
In the lawsuit, Jones alleges that Abel and Nathan conspired secretly for months, claiming they aimed to diminish her reputation, take her clients, and enrich themselves following Abel’s planned exit from Jonesworks.
She accuses Abel and Nathan of exploiting the situation with Lively to create a rift between Jones and Baldoni, subsequently attempting to place the blame on Jones.
“To this day, Abel and Nathan continue to defame and attack Jones within the industry as their own misconduct comes to light,” the lawsuit states, illustrating the ongoing conflict.
The legal documents include several alleged text messages exchanged between Abel and Nathan, which reportedly discuss Abel’s departure from Jones’ firm and her plans to take Baldoni and Wayfarer with her.

Despite the turmoil, one text message allegedly reveals Abel’s strong dislike for Baldoni. “I can’t stand him. He’s so pompous,” she reportedly texted Nathan. “You’re not that important, and nobody cares how hard your life is.”
Abel also allegedly expressed in another message that “[Baldoni] needs to be humbled.
