Snapchat has released a comprehensive holiday marketing guide that offers valuable shopping insights and usage trends aimed at informing strategic planning for brands and marketers.
The 8-page document titled “Wrapped in the Chat” details essential shopping trends and emphasizes Snapchat’s unique position in facilitating gift recommendations among users.
According to Snapchat, “Holiday shopping is no longer an isolated consumer action. It is built entirely on a foundation of real-time, peer-to-peer reassurance within trusted social networks. The modern path to a holiday purchase relies on micro-moments of validation: a shopper surfaces an item, shares it inside a tight-knit circle, secures consensus from family or close friends, and moves from an initial consideration phase to an absolute conversion.”
The guide is rich with statistics that support these insights and illustrate Snapchat’s value in the shopping process.
The guide also pinpoints the specific moments when Snapchat users actively seek gift recommendations, showcasing the platform’s effectiveness in this area.
The guide offers insights on optimizing Snapchat’s various advertising formats to enhance marketing campaigns.
A checklist for ensuring a successful planning process is also included to assist marketers in their holiday strategies.
This guide offers practical insights, and as more consumers turn to friends for recommendations, Snapchat presents a valuable opportunity for marketers to connect with potential shoppers during the holiday season.
