Fat Joe has issued a bold statement, asserting that he and his legal counsel are determined to “finish” his former hype man’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn. This attorney is representing Terrance “T.A.” Dixon in a $20 million lawsuit that alleges Fat Joe of sexual coercion and various other serious claims. Joe’s declaration follows troubling reports suggesting that Blackburn was arrested. This incident allegedly occurred when Blackburn ran over a process server back in May, just one month after Joe initiated a lawsuit against Dixon for extortion.

Fat Joe Stands Firm Against Legal Attacks
On Wednesday, June 25, Joe took to Instagram to confront the ongoing drama directly. The ‘Lean Back’ rapper made it abundantly clear that he is not going to let these serious accusations go unchallenged, labeling them “disgusting lies” while pledging to dismantle Dixon’s attorney in a court of law.
“I’ve been tested the last few months—I’ve lost my big brother, my father, my mother, and now I’m battling these disgusting lies,” Joe expressed. “But please know I will not break and I will NEVER back down.”
Joe did not shy away from voicing his disdain, throwing shade at those who have misinterpreted his “love and kindness for weakness.” He also called out individuals who “steal,” “grow jealous,” and “lie” about him, claiming they are now attacking his reputation with outlandish stories and lawsuits aimed at extorting him.
“The problem with your theory is that I’ve never allowed anyone on the streets to extort me, so how would I ever let a crooked attorney and a cowardly ex-hype man extort me?? I’m from the Bronx!” Joe vehemently declared.
He then turned his focus to Blackburn, stating emphatically, “Mr. Tyrone Blackburn, attorney at law, since you desire the publicity, we will finish you in court.” Joe asserted that attorneys who misuse their profession to extort individuals and ruin families without any evidence must be held accountable.
Blackburn’s Arrest Sparks Increased Tension
As the situation unfolded, it was reported that police arrested Blackburn, Dixon’s attorney, on Wednesday, June 25, for allegedly running over a process server back in May. According to TMZ, this incident transpired when the server attempted to deliver a $3 million demand letter related to Dixon’s claims of co-writing songs for Joe.
Apparently, Blackburn was not in the mood to engage. Allegedly, he jumped into his car, reversed it, and hit the process server. Joe’s legal team, helmed by prominent attorney Joe Tacopina, asserts that this all began when Blackburn issued a $3 million demand letter concerning Dixon’s supposed songwriting contributions. When Joe’s team refused to comply, Blackburn escalated the situation by sending a second demand letter, which accused Joe of inappropriate behavior with minors. Tacopina contends that Blackburn’s actions amount to defamation and extortion, prompting them to hire a process server to deliver a complaint. The situation has now escalated, leaving Blackburn entangled in his own legal troubles.
Understanding the Details of the Million Lawsuit
Dixon, who energized Joe’s crowds from 2005 to 2022, is not merely seeking financial compensation; he is targeting Joe’s entire legacy. In a comprehensive 157-page lawsuit, Dixon claims Joe orchestrated an “Enterprise.” He alleges that Joe built this operation through “coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation, and psychological coercion.”
Furthermore, Dixon asserts that he was not just a hype man but also a lyricist and background vocalist on tracks like ‘Congratulations’ and ‘Ice Cream.’ However, he claims that Joe and Roc Nation allegedly denied him royalties and proper credits for his contributions. The allegations take a darker turn as Dixon accuses Joe of compelling him to engage in over 4,000 sexual acts under duress to “maintain his standing” within the crew, often under surveillance, with threats of being left stranded abroad if he didn’t comply.
Additionally, Dixon alleges that he witnessed Joe engaging in sexual acts with minors as young as 15 and 16 years old. Joe is accused of paying these girls in cash and clothing. Joe’s legal team is branding these allegations as unfounded lies, calling the lawsuit a “blatant act of retaliation” and “complete fabrications.” Tacopina asserts that this is a desperate maneuver to evade Joe’s defamation lawsuit filed in April against Dixon, who allegedly propagated falsehoods online about Joe transporting a 16-year-old across state lines for sex.
