The Westchester District Attorney’s Office says that a Twitter hack on the DA’s personal page may have resulted in several people falling victim to a scam.
District Attorney Mimi Rocah’s office says her personal account was hacked Thursday. It was still sending tweets Friday.
The tweets asked people to send money over Zelle for personalized laptops.
The office could not specify how many people, if any, were victimized.Â
The office says it is looking into several ways to prosecute the case.Â
