Kohberger was driving a car with a Pennsylvania license plate when he traveled to the Moscow, Idaho residence where he committed the murders.

Kohberger drove the vehicle from Washington to Pennsylvania with his father. He was pulled over multiple times during the trip, and body camera footage confirmed the car displayed Washington plates.
Ultimately, Kohberger was arrested at his parents’ home in Pennsylvania. He was extradited to Idaho and subsequently pled guilty to the four murders. He is currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
