Vance had his share of controversy too … when the controversy matter turned to immigration.
Donald Trump‘s working mate had his microphone minimize off by CBS moderators Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan as he was speaking about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio.
Vance referred to as them “unlawful” after which bought fact-checked by CBS, with the journalists saying the migrants had non permanent authorized standing … and when Vance doubled down, his mic was minimize as O’Donnell and Brennan tried to shepherd the controversy to a different matter.
J.D. additionally complained about getting fact-checked — saying it wasn’t an agreed-upon rule at this debate — and CBS in the end minimize each candidates’ mics as issues began to go off the rails.
