Blumhouse, the horror manufacturing firm behind such massive cinematic hits as Get Out, M3GAN and the Insidious movies, has prolonged its creepy tentacles to scary exhibits and flicks to scary video video games.
Worry the Highlight is first entry into gaming with the assistance of the indie developer Cozy Sport Buddies. The horror sport will get a full launch on October 22 and there’s a demo at present out there for PCs on .
Worry the Highlight is a third-person horror journey sport that takes place in a highschool after hours. Two curious teenagers Vivian and Amy sneak into Sunnyside Excessive, a faculty with a darkish, mysterious historical past, at nighttime to carry out a séance. A lethal creature with a vivid, glowing gaze rises and begins roaming the halls of the varsity. The highlight monster separates the women and it’s as much as Vivian to unravel the varsity’s thriller, discover Amy and make it by means of the darkness alive.
The sport makes use of PS1 fashion, polygonal graphics, which simply provides to the sport’s creepy aesthetic like a few of these early horror classics together with Nightmare Creatures and the primary Silent Hill sport. There’s simply one thing a couple of square-ish head that sends a shiver down my backbone. It’s one in every of many causes I’m not trying ahead to .
