The 2 medical doctors charged in reference to Matthew Perry‘s demise are being investigated by the Medical Board of California, however they have not had their licenses suspended … no less than not but.
Dr. Mark Chavez and Dr. Salvador Plasencia are the 2 physicians charged with illegally conspiring to produce ketamine to the late “Buddies” star.
The State’s Medical Board tells TMZ … they’re conscious of the felony prices towards Dr. Chavez and Dr. Plasencia and are investigating the matter.
Within the meantime, the Board tells us the medical licenses for each physicians stay energetic … and there was no self-discipline taken towards their licenses.
As we have reported … Chavez has already reduce a deal with prosecutors, pleading responsible to conspiracy to distribute ketamine.
Dr. Chavez admitted to promoting the drug to Dr. Plasencia, and prosecutors say he obtained ketamine by writing fraudulent prescriptions.
Prosecutors say Dr. Plasencia, a doctor at an pressing care middle, would typically inject Matthew with massive doses of ketamine … even administering the drug at Perry’s residence.
Dr. Plasencia is charged with conspiracy to distribute ketamine, distribution of ketamine leading to demise, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and altering and falsifying data associated to a federal investigation. He is pleaded not responsible.
