Mozilla Defies Russian Censors, Reinstates Firefox Extensions

Defying “persistent requests” from Russian media regulator Roskomnadzor, Mozilla stated this week that it’s going to restore native entry to 5 censorship-circumventing add-ons.

Mozilla pulled the Firefox extensions—together with Censor Tracker and Runet Censorship Bypass—in Russia earlier this month with out straight notifying their builders, the Register first reported.
