Just before the weekend, Lego unveiled a captivating new set that allows you to construct the beloved extraterrestrial from his iconic wide head to his webbed toes. Comprising 1,226 pieces, this figure is fully posable, enabling movement of its head and fingers, just like E.T. does in the classic film. To add to the excitement, it features a switch that lights up its heart, and you can even build a pot of Lego sunflowers for E.T. to hold.
Originally released in 1982, the E.T. Lego figure serves as a timely gift for the movie’s 45th anniversary. The set’s webpage even promotes it as an ideal present for enthusiasts of 1980s sci-fi films who enjoy collecting E.T. merchandise. This release coincides with Disclosure Day. While the film may not be dominating the box office, fans of the latest Steven Spielberg project appreciate it, with some ranking it alongside his finest works, potentially even surpassing E.T..
