Chef Shares Insights on Relationship Timeline and Living Situation with Stefon Diggs
Jamila Adams took the witness stand and provided a detailed account of her connection with Stefon Diggs, labeling their relationship as “complicated.” She explained that their initial interaction occurred through Instagram approximately four and a half years ago, starting off as friends before it eventually “became sexual.” Adams testified that in early 2025, Diggs offered her a position as a live-in chef, compensating her $2,000 per week to cook for him and assist in his recovery during what she described as a “comeback year.” She lived in his residence from July through December. Furthermore, she alleged that in December 2025, Diggs assaulted her, claiming he struck her in the face and attempted to choke her using his elbow.
Allegations of Rising Tensions Within the Household Preceding the Choking Incident
Adams also recounted that tensions escalated within Diggs’ close circle in the weeks prior to the alleged choking incident. She asserted that disputes arose following accusations that she had divulged personal information regarding Diggs’ relationships, including claims concerning another woman associated with his staff. This situation allegedly led to confrontations and increased friction in the household, ultimately resulting in her exclusion from a planned trip to Miami. However, defense attorneys contended that disputes over finances and disagreements with individuals in Diggs’ circle significantly contributed to the heightened tensions.
Stefon Diggs has entered a not guilty plea to all charges, including felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery. His defense team asserts that no assault took place, emphasizing the lack of physical evidence and witness testimony to corroborate the allegations. “The assault that the Commonwealth described in their opening statement never happened. It did not happen,” insisted Diggs’ attorney, Andrew Kettlewell.
