I Was Fired From Universal For Reporting A Pedophile!!!
Published
Steven Anthony Lawrence — a former child star on the Disney hit “Even Stevens” — claims he was fired from Universal Studios as retaliation for reporting a pedophile.
The actor — who portrayed Bernard “Beans” Aranguren in 22 episodes of the show from 2001 to 2003 — made these claims on Instagram Saturday, sharing a photo of his work ID next to a large Toad costume.
Lawrence states he delayed sharing this news because he hoped to reach an amicable solution with his former employer.
However, he asserts that his time at Universal Studios ended recently, alleging that his boss and a human resources representative retaliated against him for “reporting a suspected pedophile around children.”
Lawrence mentions that it pains him to quit, but he cannot, in good conscience, continue to associate with Universal while individuals are allegedly being harmed by this person.
He concludes his post by stating, “With what I know, I WILL NEVER ALLOW MY KID TO GO TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD. Be safe everyone.”
Numerous social media users voiced their support for Lawrence … including his former co-star, Christy Carlson Romano, who commented, “Good for you Steven! 👏”
It is worth noting that Steven provides no physical evidence to substantiate his claim.
We have reached out to Steven, the boss, and the HR representative he mentioned in his initial Instagram post, but so far, we have not received a response.
