The exciting multiplayer adaptation of Control, titled FBC: Firebreak, is set to make its debut in the PlayStation Game Catalog this June. As part of Sony’s PS Plus offerings for the month, players can look forward to the thrilling day-one addition of FBC: Firebreak. In FBC: Firebreak, you and a team of up to two friends can collaborate to battle against the terrifying Hiss. Step into the shoes of a courageous government employee who has volunteered to confront these otherworldly monsters. The real excitement begins when you upgrade your standard firearms with extraordinary supernatural abilities, enhancing your combat effectiveness and providing a unique twist to traditional shooter mechanics.

During our preview, Engadget’s Jessica Conditt described Firebreak as a promising and “incredibly fun” addition to the shooter genre, requiring just a bit of fine-tuning prior to its launch. She stated, “Firebreak is set to be a thoughtful and focused entry in the co-op shooter space, and it already serves as an engaging extension of Remedy’s signature blend of dark humor and absurdity,” underscoring its potential appeal to fans of the genre.

Mark your calendars! FBC: Firebreak is slated for release in the Game Catalog on June 17. To access this exciting title, players will need an active PS Plus Extra or Premium membership.
