Cole will remain involved, although his live performances will not be guaranteed in the future. During his closing set on Sunday, he candidly addressed the changes, acknowledging the challenges of organizing such an event but assuring fans they would continue to bring the same spirit, even if the format evolves.
“It might not have the motherf*ing ‘Dreamville Festival’ name on it, but we will be back with this feel. When y’all are here, I don’t know if y’all feel it, but to me, this feels like a cookout, a motherf*ing family reunion. There’s so much love in this b***h. It’s a celebration of our community,” he expressed passionately.
