LG has unveiled two exciting new projectors at CES 2025, heralded as the next generation of the popular CineBeam Q series. The first model, the PF600U, features a unique design reminiscent of a stand fan, but it serves multiple functions: it’s not just a projector, but also a Bluetooth speaker and a captivating LED mood lamp. This versatile device offers a stunning array of nine colors and five adjustable brightness levels, allowing users to tailor the lighting to create the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. By tilting its head, you can project impressive images up to 120 inches in size, boasting a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and an impressive brightness rating of 300 ANSI lumens. With the capability to stream movies, shows, and more from various platforms via LG’s innovative webOS, this projector is designed for ultimate convenience and entertainment.
The second offering from LG is the direct successor to the CineBeam Q model. The new CineBeam S is touted as LG’s smallest 4K Ultra Short Throw projector, weighing a mere 5.5 pounds, making it incredibly portable. This compact powerhouse can produce large, vibrant images measuring up to 100 inches, delivering stunning 4K UHD resolution alongside a remarkable brightness of 500 ANSI lumens. It only requires a minimal wall clearance of just a few inches for setup. Additionally, it supports Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience, and like the PF600U, it operates on LG’s webOS platform. The elegant metallic finish is not only stylish but also enhances its portability, allowing users to easily relocate it to any space. Designed for versatility, the CineBeam S features intuitive functions that automatically align the screen, adjust colors based on wall surfaces, and resize the image to fit the room’s dimensions seamlessly.
While LG has not yet disclosed the pricing or availability details for these innovative projectors, further information is anticipated during CES 2025. As a point of reference, the previous model, CineBeam Q, was available for preorder in March 2024 at a retail price of $1,299, setting a precedent for the quality and performance that customers can expect from LG’s latest offerings.
